Car

There is good access to Colchester from all parts of the country via the A12, A120, M25 and A14. To reach the town centre by road, exit the A12 at junction 27 and follow signs to the town centre.

We are a short walk from all Colchester’s town centre car parks, the nearest car parks are Priory Street and Britannia. Find out more about parking in Colchester town centre.

Train

 Journey time from London Liverpool Street to Colchester is approximately 50 minutes on Greater Anglia services with trains running every hour. Firstsite is a few minutes’ walk from Colchester Town Station via Queens Street. 


 Walking from Colchester mainline station takes approx. 25 minutes or short a bus ride. Taxis are also available from outside the station.

The High Street, Queen Street and East Hill are well served by many local bus routes with bus stops just a few minutes’ walk from Firstsite. Queen Street Stop Jc, just by the Curzon Cinema, is our nearest bus stop. This is served by bus routes 64, 64A and 65. Firstsite is also just a 10-minute walk from Colchester’s bus station on Osborne Street.

Important Exhibitor Information

Stand Spec

This event offers a space-only stand setup, giving you the freedom to create a more open and personalized display. With no shell scheme restrictions, you’ll have more room to spread out and showcase your brand in your own unique way. Bring along your roller banners, tablecloths, and other branded materials to make your space stand out and truly reflect your business!


Furniture

A complimentary 6ft x 3ft table and up to 2 chairs is provided on request. If you haven't already, please complete this form  to inform us of your requirements. If you do NOT need any furniture please do still complete this form, so that we can allocate elsewhere.


Electric 

It is your responsibility to bring any necessary extension leads, cables or plugs to connect to the electrical points located around the exhibition space. Access to these electrical points is complimentary and included in your booking. If you require electrical access please complete this form to let us know.


PAT Tested Equipment

As per the venue's requirements, all equipment must be PAT tested, and all exhibitors must have a valid PAT certificate to show.


Deliveries

Due to limited space, the venue has advised that they are not able to accept deliveries and store items on-site. We ask you to bring all of your supplies with you.


Wi-fi

Wifi login information will be provided on each exhibitor's table upon arrival and QR codes will be available to scan around the venue.


Food & Drink

There will be self-service tea and coffee available, as well as a buffet lunch provided for all exhibitors and delegates. Please complete our forms ASAP to let us know how many staff you will have on stand, as well as any allergies or dietary requirements, so that this can be passed onto catering.


Accessibility

Level access throughout the building, including disabled toilets. Very limited accessible parking is available on a first come first serve basis. Click here for further accessibility information.

Set-Up Instructions

Set-up Dates & Times

  • Setup on Monday 22nd September (the day prior to the event) opens at 5pm and you must vacate by 8pm.
  • Setup resumes on event day Thursday 10th July at 8:15am, you must have completed setup before the event opens at 9am.
  • Breakdown commences when the event closes at 5pm. You must vacate by pm at the latest and no equipment or packages may be left on site after this time.

Exhibitor Parking & Unloading

To access, please drive down Queen Street and take the first turning after the Curzon cinema and then drive up and right, you can only load/unload here and  cannot park.   You must make sure to keep an access route clear for emergency purposes and  ideally park with your exhaust facing away from the building. (Please see photo to right)
